Problems connecting student and teacher

I am having problems connecting with the student. We are both online, both with internet and it is saying to both of us we are in the class and need to wait for the other to appear, and yet it is not connecting us with the video and audio.
I had this problem once yesterday and now once today. Though sometimes with other classes in between it has been ok.
Is this something to do with the new space, or is it something the student is doing wrong or that I am doing wrong?
Any suggestions?

United StatesI was just writing a comment and it disappeared.
So again: I'm a student, having similar problem but only with audio. Two lessons ago my teacher couldn't hear me. This time I couldn't hear her. We didn't know to try F5. I'm worried that we'll still have the problem in next lesson. Do you think F5 will work for just audio? Any other things to try? Thanks.
Hi, From time to time, I also encounter such an issue. One of you, or both need(s) to click on the F5 button on the keyboard(s). This simple step usually sorts the problem out.
