Ciao a tutti!
I am Francesca and I come from Italy and I am here to help you learn Italian. I was born and raised in Genova, a coastal city in the north-western part of Italy, then I lived in Milano for 10 years and I am currently living in Spain.
I have been teaching Italian to foreign people for many years, both offline and online.
ABOUT MY CLASSES 🇮🇹
I always try to make lessons as fun and entertaining as possible by including games and fun exercises as well as educational activities of any kind. I believe that when you have fun and when you look forward to your next lesson, that's when you are learning the most.
During my lessons I'll let my students talk as much as possible, and after that we'll go over each mistake to make sure they understand them properly.
According to the level of the student, the grammar need may change accordingly. If we are starting from a beginner level of course the first lessons will cover different grammar topics ( but don't worry, you'll start speaking Italian with me already from day 1!)
Even when I teach grammar I try to include as much conversation as possible by asking many questions.
When it comes to more advanced students, the classes will definitely be more focused on conversation/reading/listening activities and we will cover the most difficult aspects of grammar ( subjunctive, the use of the 3 conditionals etc.) that way you can master them for your speaking.
I will always provide detailed material and in case you want to learn something specifically, just let me know and we will cover it on our following class.

I am very kind and patient and I always listen to all students' needs. I am very cheerful and I always love having a good laugh with my students!
I truly enjoy learning about new cultures and countries, therefore I will have you speaking a lot :D
At the same time I will be teaching lots of things about Italian culture and our way of living.
My biggest passion is traveling.
CANCELLATION POLICY AND OTHER INFO ❗️
Please note just a few additional info with regards to the class:
- as per Verbling cancellation and no show policies: classes cancelled within 12 hours from start time will get a 50% refund, and no shows will get no refund at all.
I will allow rescheduling if received at least 12 hours before the start time, in order to give the possibility to other students to eventually book that hour slot.
*please note that there may be exceptions in extraordinary cases
- please, keep in mind that when I have back to back classes I may be 5 minutes late to our class ( I will let you know before). Of course we will make up for those minutes at the end of the class. Or if you can't, on the next class.

Francesca is a fantastic Italian teacher - knowledgeable, engaging and fun. The classes are a mix of conversation practice for one part and working through a particular topic or task for the second part. Over the last few months we have covered grammar lessons, reading and listening exercises and each has been really enjoyable with plenty of insight into Italian culture and life too.
I have had a number of language teachers through school, university and my career to date, and can thoroughly recommend Francesca as an excellent choice. My Italian has already improved significantly and the classes are great value.
