I'm a Brazilian certified language teacher and I also hold a certificate in teaching languages online.
Portuguese is my native language since I was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but I can also speak English and Spanish fluently.
I have over 10,000 hours of experience teaching languages. I started working as a teacher in 2014, and I’ve been teaching Portuguese for foreigners online since 2017. I have many students in my city and a lot of experience teaching online and in the classroom. It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced student. I can help you!
I’ve already lived in the United States, where I went to an American High School, and I also hold a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations.
Considering I'm also a learner of other languages such as English, Spanish and French, I can relate to my students’ feelings, challenges and difficulties. Therefore, I'm a very patient, understanding and friendly teacher. I have a great amount of excellent resources and my lessons are tailor-made according to my student’s needs, goals and interests. We can work on specific vocabulary, grammar, or we can have conversations and talk about many subjects.
My goal is to help you to speak more confidently and fluently as soon as possible, and I will be very glad to be part of your learning process. :)

Isabella has been my teacher for almost a year and I can say that she is a wonderful person. She's always been patient with me and I've always learned something new after every lesson.
We've had great conversations, and she is skillful in using tools and materials to help learn grammar, vocabulary, and structure. I highly recommend her to anyone trying to learn Portuguese!

Isabella is great. She identified my problem areas, gives homework to practice and improve upon those areas, can speak in English when needed, is on time and uses the full hour towards the betterment of my Portuguese skills. She's very professional and easy to talk to and makes the hour go by fast. I highly recommend for anyone looking to seriously take their Portuguese to a new level.
