I was born and raised in Igbo land, in Nigeria, where I spent uninterrupted 27 years of my life and schooled up to university level.
Growing up, I always had the desire to keep Igbo language alive and contribute to its development as much as I can.
I have translated report and research articles for government and non-governmental agencies in Nigeria.
Despite being formally educated in Igbo language, I design layman friendly lesson plans, materials and homework on each topic to be treated.
I will empower you to know how to put Igbo words together and sound like native speakers on your own.
I design lessons and homework based on your environment, interests, and learning capacity.

Obioha is great with positive reinforcement and praising students when they do well while also making sure to demand accuracy and maintain the integrity of the language. He is encouraging but with high standards - as it should be when a student is trying to learn something.

Fun! Obioha is very encouraging and obviously has a passion for teaching this language. Its the perfect mix of learning conversational phrases most in use in Nigeria today but also with the background of knowing the true meaning of the words, literally. I appreciate that because it gives students a picture of how much beauty, imagery and flavor is in the language.
