Sound Effects Toggle
Do you hate sound? We've got you covered. Click the toggle to turn off site-wide sound effects.
Special Characters
Click the "Special Characters" link to open up a movable widget for inputing special characters.
Phonetics
Click the "Phonetics" link to open up a movable widget for inputing and listening to phonetics in the IPA - International Phonetic Alphabet.

Thank you!!! This is a great update! Many times the student gets distracted everytime there's a popping sound on the flashcards.
Sorry to be a pain. But in the Lesson Page the thing that is annoying isn't the "Hightlighted text tools" but this other box that pops up every time the mouse is over a message.
It's useful sometimes, especially Correct but sometimes it gets in the way, I'm creating Flashcards by accident all the time. I don't know if others share this issue but if there is a possibility to turn that off when needed it would help.
Incidentally, tiny bug in the "highlighted text tools:"
If you highlight something, then the box pops up, then you go to the Star Menu and turn it off, the highlighted menu stays on-screen and can't be removed. It should disappear when it is turned off in the Star Menu.
Thank you, good news! What about stress marks for russian language? I'm sure it could be useful for many languages. Actually it's not convenient to have a thing like that in the "special Characters" part. Imagine you have to open it to type each(!) new word. So you're typing and at the same time using a mouse to pick the characters from the pop-up menu. It would be better to be able to add a stress mark by pressing a hot key, for example Ctrl+b = stress mark.
