I haven't updated my bio for 3 years and my inspiring students are helping reshape my concept of what I enjoy as a Chinese Language Acquisition Coach!
Language acquisition is less about reaching to a fluent result, but more of constantly being on the journey of exploring what works for you. I hope to nurture this process-oriented acquisition expedition with you!
I help you gain proficiency in and acquire Chinese language through guided discussions about culture, personally relevant topics, book reviews and storytelling/storyconstructing, Q&A sessions, popular media and cartoon games!
I help you gain acquisition through written discussions catered to promote personal growth and introspection.
You will be welcomed and accompanied by my open, relaxing, engaging, and friendly style which will promote confidence and a natural and comfortable atmosphere that encourages every level, from beginner to advanced, to engage with the Chinese language at their optimal capacity.
Attendance Policy:
I will be waiting in the classroom for 15 minutes and the lesson is not refundable. Feel free to reschedule 24 hours in advance. Appreciate your understanding.
*Each conversational lesson is 55 minutes.

TY really helps me to understand the language in cotext through dramas. She is very good at checking that I am understanding the concept of the use of grammar and vocabulary.

Ty is very good at catering your Mandarin lessons to whatever your interest are. I am an absolute beginner, but working with TY, I have been able to practice pronunciation with words that interest me. This has made are classes more interesting and fun!

TY is such a patient and friendly teacher. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn or improve their Chinese. She really adapts the class to your personal needs and you'll also have a lot of fun in her classes too!
