I have just finished my second year of studying Chinese with Lin. We have done about 250 classes in that time period. I have had a great all-around experience. I am able to speak well and clearly and have a vocabulary of a few thousand words. Learning Chinese is a long process and very difficult but Lin makes it much easier and she is able to make a learning plan to suit your needs. If you are looking for a great teacher look no further than Lin.

I had 19 lessons with Lin. She is "The Best Teacher" in my whole life.
I have never seen any teacher like Lin. I highly recommend Lin. In every lesson, I can feel many progresses.
Firstly, She is trilingual in Chinese(traditional, simplified), Spanish and English. So, She knows perfectly how to learn foreign language.
Secondly, She has cultural insight. She have many experiences teaching European. so, she knows What is difficult for European and American. she can also explain very easily.
Thirdly, she is so diligent. she always prepare very well. That always motivate me.
중국어 선생님을 찾으시는 한국분들이 계시다면 린선생님은 최고라고 자신있게 말씀 드릴 수 있습니다. 린선생님을 만난 것은 제 인생 최고의 행운 중에 하나입니다. 최고라고 할 수 있는 이유를 말씀드리자면,
첫번째로 외국어를 습득하는 방법을 아주 잘 이해하고 계십니다. 우리가 외국어를 배울때는 모국어와는 다른 방식으로 습득하게 됩니다. 두개의 외국어를 할 수 있는 린 선생님은 외국어를 접근하는 방법을 아주 잘 이해하고 계십니다. 매 수업에서 외국인의 눈에서 중국어를 어떻게 이해해야 할지 차근차근 잘 알려주십니다.
두번째로 한국인들에게는 간체자보다 번체자가 더 익숙합니다. 한국에서는 정규교육과정에서 한문을 배우기 때문이죠. 린선생님은 대만 국적이셔서 번체와 간체 모두로 가르쳐 주실 수 있습니다. 우리가 익숙한 번체자와 간체자를 함께 외우면 중국어 단어 학습 효율을 몇배 더 증가시킬 수 있습니다.
세번째로 정말 성실하십니다. 제 삶에서 린선생님 같이 성실한 사람을 본 적이 없습니다. 항상 수업을 성실히 준비하셔서 1시간이 정말 모자를 정도로 많은 것을 가르쳐 주십니다.
네번째로 영어도 정말 잘하십니다. 영어로 쉽게쉽게 중국어를 풀어 설명해 주실 수 있는 영어실력의 소유자이십니다. 중국어 수업을 하는데 일석이조로 영어실력까지 느는 것을 느낄 수 있습니다.
