Would you like to learn a language faster? Would you like to become not just good at grammar but at speaking?
If you have answered "Yes" to at least one of these two questions then you are in the right place. My name is Juan Balam and my objective is to give you the tools to achieve your language objectives and take you to the next level.
I've learned a method that I personally use to create the grammatical structure in the mind, that way you can speak anything and learn by yourself in 3 months of frequent studying.
I´ve felt the pain of knowing a lot of grammar but not speaking a word of the new language and that is why I want to help other ones to fight that and become fluent speakers.
I've gave conferences and workshops about many topics for more than 5 years, but mostly about how to use your talents to achieve your goals, and recently I am giving this "know-how" for the language teaching because I am sure everybody can learn a language.
I offer my services just to the people who really know what they want. If you are one of these ones, then I want to be your teacher.
-I only accept committed and disciplined students.
-I want people who really appreciate the value of speaking a new language.
-I am not a magician. If you want to be able to speak fluent in 3 months then you have to know that we'll BOTH work hard.

If you haven't taken classes with Juan, take a trial session as soon as you're done reading this: I have struggled with Spanish for years. YEARS. Maybe part of it was pride, maybe part of it was a lack of confidence...but I just felt so stuck in a rut. I felt as if I had tried everything to move past it: conversational classes at an academy, Rosetta Stone, language partners, I took it in school and even lived in Mexico for 2 years but just couldn't get a grip on the grammar.
This past summer, I had finally had enough. I searched through Verbling for a teacher and immediately began studying with Juan after the trial session. Since that day about 6 months ago, I have increased my Spanish level from A2 to B level and can have a fluid conversation with confidence. I still make mistakes, sure, but Juan's methods make understanding the grammar so much easier than anything else (or anyone else) I've ever tried. He's truly gifted at what he does. You won't regret taking classes with him.

Juan is EXACTLY the teacher I've been looking for. I'm not a beginner in the Spanish language, but I have a lot of grammar issues (due to the fact that I learned almost everything in conversation), and Juan knows exactly how to pinpoint these issues so that I can study and they don't continue to be a problem. I appreciate both his knowledge and patience in the Spanish language and look forward to our next session.
