À propos de moi
I am a native Italian speaker, I was born in Naples. I have a Master Degree in French and Italian Languages, Literature & Culture from the University of Padova (Italy) and University of Grenoble (France). I had some teaching experiences in Italian and French languages in some of the most important schools and companies across Mexico. I have taught Italian at the University of Guanajuato and French language in the Tec of Monterrey (Campus Puebla) high school. I teach italian online from five years. I love traveling and meeting people from different cultures, reading and writing novels and I have a passion for world cuisine.
I prefer a hybrid style because there is not one single method for everyone, I apply a specific methodology to all learners who have different objectives and learning needs. I like to encourage students to self-correct and to practice structures through both writing and conversation. I offer conversation classes, listening classes, reading classes and writing classes.

- we will get to know each other (with a small presentation in the Italian language - I will share my screen with the sentences, don't worry :D). 10 minutes
- We will define your level with a small test. 10 minutes
- We will define our goals for the course
After the Italian Trial Class, according to your level and your targets, we will decide which book and material to use for the course. We will speak about our lesson's schedule (days, hours) :D A presto!

Each lesson with Lavinia is tailor-made to suit your level of understanding and ability. She uses a variety of materials so that you never get bored. Lavinia also speaks several different languages so she is empathetic to the learning process and you never feel foolish trying to learn Italian which in turn builds confidence.

WOW Lavinia is a super teacher, she is very dedicated and polite, she focuses the lesson on conversation, it was amazing, I had never spoken Italian but with Lavinia we were speaking for an our!
